Dear Swimmers and Families,

I am thrilled to have been given this opportunity to Head Coach the Comox Valley Aquatic Club and look forward to a wonderful 2007 – 2008 season.

To all the new members in the club I would like to congratulate you on choosing this wonderful sport. You will find your involvement in swimming will develop you as a person and not just an athlete. You will learn many ‘life skills' that will be advantages to you in and out of the pool. Many of your soon to be life long friends will come from your current and future teammates. Together you will enjoy the process of preparation for competition, travel, training trips and that common bond with all things aquatic.

To all returning members I hope that I can provide a fresh, new, environment that you will find both challenging and rewarding. I am looking forward to working with you and helping you take your swimming to the next level.

The time is now to set your goals for this season and beyond.
